Meet Leo Serving customers at the heart of the electricity market

Leo Konttinen has worked as a Portfolio Manager at VENI since April 2023. Operating at the heart of the rapidly changing electricity market, his days vary greatly. Leo enjoys the strong expertise and great spirit of the team he is part of.

In addition to analyzing the electricity market and purchasing electricity, his job involves working extensively with customers and internal stakeholders.

“I find it highly rewarding when we can confirm with the customer that our hedging strategies have been successful. At customer meetings I get the opportunity to showcase my expertise in market interpretation and analysis,” Leo explains.

At VENI, Leo observes a flat structure, and questions are encouraged, making it easy for new employees to engage in the team. “Our work culture is open, conversational, and knowledgeable.
